Season 2 has been all over the place, but the Maddox RFB keeps showing up in my loadouts anyway. If you're trying to dial in recoil and still win those mid-range scraps, it's hard to replace—and when I'm warming up or testing a new setup, I'll even jump into a CoD BO7 Bot Lobby just to get the feel for the pattern again before I hit Hardpoint for real.

Optic and muzzle choices that actually matter
Start with the sight, because the wrong one makes the Maddox feel worse than it is. The Lethal Tools ELO is the easy pick: clean view, no clutter, and it tracks well when fights stretch out. If you're still fighting the bounce, swap to the Fang Hover Point—yeah, you'll feel a tiny ADS slowdown, but the steadiness pays you back. Next, run the 24-in Ensemblage Barrel to keep your damage relevant outside point-blank range. Then lock in the Redwell 5.56 Compensator. If you skip it, you'll spend half your mag dragging down to stay on target, especially when you're shooting across a hill or holding a long lane.

Foregrip and mag for objective chaos
Once vertical recoil is under control, the sideways wiggle is what gets you killed. The Vast Drift Lock Foregrip helps a ton there, especially when someone's bunny-hopping through a doorway and you're trying to keep bullets on their chest. For modes like Hardpoint, the Billing Extended Mag is the real comfort pick. Fifty rounds means you can break a setup, catch the second guy sliding in, and still have enough to pre-fire the next corner without panic-reloading. It's not flashy, it just saves your life over and over.

Mobility tuning and the full nine attachments
To keep the Maddox from feeling heavy, add the Hlex MLX Grip so your ADS snaps in faster and your slide-cancel into gunfights feels natural. The Migrate MLX Stock is worth it too—strafe speed helps you win those mirror-match duels, and the flinch resistance stops your aim from going to the moon when you get tagged first. Finish with the Buffer Spring fire mod to tighten the gun's rhythm and keep bursts controllable when you're stressed. Since this build stacks attachments, Gunfighter isn't optional; it's the whole point of running the "do-everything" Maddox in Season 2.

Match habits, backup plan, and staying stocked
For a sidearm, the V-Locks 5.7 is my go-to because it cleans up fights when you're caught mid-reload or your mag runs dry at the worst time. Perks are simple: Flak Jacket to survive the random grenade spam, and Scavenger so you can keep pressuring without hunting for a fallen rifle. In-game, don't overthink it—watch your minimap, take the free angles, and rotate early if your team's about to get pinched. If you're looking to keep your account geared up with services like in-game items and currency support, it's worth checking U4GM while you're building out the rest of your classes.
